Not All Bad
Another year, another makeover! Sharp-eyed visitors will notice the XHTML markup and CSS2.1 styling of old has been subtly replaced with HTML5 and CSS3. As well as simplifying markup, making pages load faster, and providing some whizzy new presentational effects, the coding changes also allow video to be embedded right in the page with HTML5's spiffy new "video" tag (I haven't implemented that bit yet; for now, I'm using a video lightbox for video clips in the "images" section of the site).
Visitors using a deprecated browser probably won't see anything at all, not even this text, as the site will have degraded disgracefully into an unrenderable abomination, but those using a standards-compliant browser should be OK.
Meanwhile, on the content front, I've shunted a couple of presentations on image manipulation into the "study" section: while this material is somewhat old and is no longer included in my current teaching material (unlike me, it's officially retired!), it is presented here for your edification (is that a euphemism?). Also, some new(ish) video can now be found in the "video" section. Caveat emptor, LOL &c.
